1.- Schools of Sagrada Familia
In the corner of the Sagrada Familia lot, between Sardenya and Mallorca
streets, you will find a small structure built by Gaudi between 1908 and
1909. Although it was a provisional construction destinated to be a school
for the sons of the men who were working on the temple, it is considered one of the most important works of Gaudinist architecture.

The next work that we will write about will be the Colegio Teresiano as
suggested by Raquel Perez, one of our members. If you are interested in any
particular work or theme, just let us know and we will try to publish
information about it.
2.- Our members participate
Like every month, we are proud to show you some of the pictures that our

3. Articles in the Press
The end of the century at Sagrada Familia has been a busy time. Due to the
amount of visitors and workers working on its construction, they had to
remove the majority of the interior scaffolding in the nave on December
31st.

4.- New links
This month the new 7 Wonders' site offers you the chance to participate in
the world's first global internet votation to select the New 7 Wonders of
the World. One of the choices is the Gaudí's Sagrada Familia. We encourage

5.- Our Members projects
During the Gaudinist Conferences in Holland, we had the opportunity to see
the fantastic proposal of Emerson and Cheryl Martlage: build the whole
Colonia Guell Church at real size. From the Gaudi & Barcelona Club we have
contacted the Martlages to let them explain us more specifically their
project.
