Barcelona,
20 October 2003.- The Gaudí & Barcelona Club Association
Inaugurates, next Thursday October 23rd, the exhibition "International
Reflections of Gaudí", a sample of works having gaudinian
inspiration. Created by the artist members from around the world.
This sample may be visited in the Montserrat cloister in the Sagrada
Familia Temple till next January 17th, 2004.
Architecture,
sculpture, stained glass, photographs, painting... From Los Angeles
till Barcelona, passing through Dublin, Buenos Aires or Amsterdam,
Gaudí has been a source of inspiration for many artists
of many diverse disciplines. Going on with the zeal to spread
the figure and work of this genial architect, the Gaudí
& Barcelona Club intends to show, With the "International
Reflections of Gaudí", the world range which this
figure of the architecture represents.
The inauguration
of the exhibition will be accompanied with a concert of the prestigious
Swedish choir St. Olofskören. Joan-Jordi Bergós, Delegate
president of the Sagrada Familia Temple Building Committee, and
Eduard Solé, chairman of the Gaudí & Barcelona
Club will also take part in the act.
