"I have been a long
time supporter of gaudiclub.com, and it has been a great place to learn about
Gaudi and his works in Catalonia. I recently visited Barcelona in May of 2002
and went to many of the places cited by this great website.
Although one can read about the achievements of Gaudi, nothing can really
prepare you for the grandeur and sheer vision of his works--la Sagrada Familia
in particular. Many religious edifices have been built in the past, but none
are as liberated from the constraints of this earth as la Sagrada Familia.
It is truly a unique effort.
I have taken many pictures in hope of capturing some of that grandeur that
these structures impart. I hope you enjoy them! Thanks for letting me post
these, too.
