In this, as in much our work, we have in mind the description of
Gaudi: man of materials, man of ideas, man of faith. By the use
of symbolic and geometric ideas and varied materials we hope to
evoke Gaudi’s extensive study and use of geometry in formulating
his architectural and furniture designs, and his daring breadth
of material use. Furthermore and in particular we allude to Gaudi’s
original use of metal angle section in ecclesiastical furniture,
particularly the Church of the Colonia Guell.
